Gramblr Instagram desktop app: Upload/schedule Photos from desktop

Gramblr is one of those free tool for Instagram which will give hard time to paid Instagram apps. The project which was started as an internal work is available for end users like you & me for no cost. This is a desktop app & works only when you are online. Gramblr offers many great features & supports videos along with images.

One thing which you would like the most about Gramblr is option to get free Instagram likes. They have a point system where you can earn points by liking others uploads (Gramblr community users) & you can redeem these points for your uploads. You will also get free Instagram likes for your first upload using Gramblr.

How to use Gramblr:

Head over to Gramblr download page & download the software based on your OS (Available for Windows & Mac).
Install the app & open it.
This will bring up the registration page where you need to create an account & link your Instagram ID.
Once that’s done, this is the kind of interface you would be getting:

To get started, drag & drop any image or video that you would like to upload. You can use inbuilt image crop feature to crop images or even videos.

Click on Save & on the next page click on Filters. This app offers great number of image filters that you can use & something which makes is pretty useful too. In below image you can see all the filters:

Once you have applied filters click on save. You can always undo your action in case if you applied a wrong filter. Once this is done, next step is to add the caption, Hashtag & post your update.

And this is where Gramblr gets more interesting as you can schedule your update. Though the only catch is your computer needs to be online. I have tested their scheduling feature too & it works as promised. Anyone with good 15-20 minutes of work can schedule a lot of updates for the day.

Anytime you can click on Earn coins to start earning coins by liking other pictures. You can click on the heart at the top to get likes on any Instagram pic; including others too. Maybe something you can use for your Fiverr gig.

Even though Gramblr is pretty amazing free desktop tool for Instagram, I would love to see more features in coming days. Especially option to upload bulk images on Instagram will be a real time saver.

In the case of the disconnected internet, the option to send an update when the computer is online is something must. I hope in the future they consider moving the whole stuff to the cloud which would take care of the above pain point.
